Scira Diagnostics Limited ("Scira", "we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17338766), with our registered office at Aston Park Farm, Stringers Lane, Aston, Hertfordshire, SG2 7EF. If you contact us, we collect what you choose to give us. We also hold limited professional information about clinicians and scientists working in transplantation, gathered from published sources such as journal articles and professional directories. Our privacy notice for healthcare professionals covers that separately and is the notice that applies if you are one of them. If you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, organisation (if provided) and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and to follow up where relevant.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and, where you volunteer information, your consent. We do not use your details for automated decision-making, and we do not sell them.
We do not share your personal data except with the service providers that help us operate, acting as our processors under appropriate agreements. These currently include our website host and form provider and our email provider. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved transfer mechanisms.
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics that profile you. Only strictly necessary cookies that keep the site working may be set. Because of this, no cookie consent banner is required.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@scirabio.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
